Stan, Thanks for all of your good insights into acceptance plans. It's very helpful. MDOT is in the process of reviewing our QC/QA specification to make it more statistically valid, and the Pay Factor table is a big part of that effort. I have another question about that table. Can you tell me why it's necessary to adjust the Pay Factor based on n? Since you've already adjusted your percent-within-limits for sample size, why is it necessary to do so again for Pay Factor? Is there a valid mathematical reason for this?
