I am working on setting up an incoming inspection plan for reciept of multiple lots of material being recieved in close succession. I expect the defect rate to be very low (<0.5%) with lot sizes varying from 1000 - 10,000. I would like to minimize the sampling by use of a skip-lot plan. In addition I want to use a traditional C=0 plan for the actual inspection. Can you help me determine a statistically valid method for developing this plan?
