I am in the process of writing my thesis proposal for my MS degree in Industrial Engineering. My advisor wants me to create an attribute sampling plan with an AQL less than 0.01 and the sampling plan is based on PPM concept. I could do that but then he asked me to do this: let say my current sampling plan calls out for n=100, Ac=0 and if in the process of inspection I find one (1)defective unit out of 100. What is the risk if I accept that lot ?

Please shed some light on this - I was thinking using conditional probability to calculate the risk.

Thanks, Viet Le
