See the similar application in a thread that starts Sept 20, 2000. Could it be the same application?

Your Cpk is related to the K values of a variables sampling plan. (K = Cpk times 3.) If you are going to take a new sample at incoming, I recommend that you set it up a variables sampling plan with known standard deviation -- according to the method described in the tutorial: www.samplingplans.com/modern3.htm

Also use a plan for the range or standard deviation to check, for each lot, that the standard deviation hasn't changed.
