I'm currently researching the possiblity of using the Cpk indices to determine sample size/frequency. If a process has shown to be stable for a period of time and only common sources of variation exist and the system of taking the measurements is accurate and precise then one should be able to reduce the frequency and intervals at which samples are taken.
I'm aving difficulty locating theoretical and practicle infomation for this topic and I've seached several leading journals and text. Can anyone help on this topic and where can I find some information?
