I don't know the answer to your question. However, with respect to the pros and cons of using the AQL and lot size to determine a sampling plan, see:

If your company is a customer receiving the product, or if you ship the product to customers, you might consider an approach that defines protection for the consumer -- which the AQL & lot size method does not do. See:
