I have a few questions:
Will the sampling plan be used for reporting or acceptance?
Will some of the items already be shipped out by the time that the sample size is accumulated?
You said that the AQL is 0.5%. What is the historical process percentage defective?
What do you want to use for RQL? The sample size will depend on the difference between AQL and RQL. RQL is the quality level at the consumer's point of the operating chatacteristic curve. See: www.samplingplans.com/usingoccurves.htm.
