Hi Stan! Thanks for the quick turnaround with your reply. It seems to me that by using AQL or RQL etc I am specifying acceptable quality levels and working to that.{Prob of accepting / rejecting parts etc..}

What happens if I ask the following:

"A company produces x units per yr. They must validate a change in the process. How many units should be built and tested to accurately represent a build of x units. "

Is this a slightly different approach?? Can this be solved by a table or plan? Perhaps there is a simple rationale to apply to my question and I just can't see / understand it.

Again many thanks. There is certainly a lot of valuable information here.
