I need to set up a sampling plan to functionally test a low-cost device. The lot sizes will be approx. 10,000 units. The test is pass/fail. If the lot fails, it will be withheld and be 100% sorted. This is a new product and no history is available about the effectiveness of the proces, but these units will have gone through 100% testing upstream so we expect few failures at this stage. Management wants to estimate how many testing stations we will need to get started. I'm rather rusty in the statistical properties of sampling plans. Thanks, Terry
