In my readings, I commonly find this type of language: "Lots of AQL or better should have an ALPHA or less chance of rejection." By rejection, do they really mean that it will have ALPHA or less chance of the material not being treated as acceptable material? I would think that the term "rejection" would be used for materials that are found below the RQL, not the AQL. If that's not the case, how would you classify material between the RQL and AQL?
