As you said, code letter "M" and AQL=.10% has a down arrow leading to sample size 1)=315, and 2)=315.
In this case, the smallest AQL is controlling the sample size.
There might be a solution to this problem that would reduce the sample size. What is being tested? What is the quality characteristic and how is it measured?
If you are measuring color numerically, I think that you can reduce the sample size quite a bit without changing the operating characteristic curve.
