I work in QA for an apparel menufacturer. Let me explain you how our process work so you can understand better my questions. The manufacturing process is not always continuous, some style can be days or week from the end of one lot to the begening of other to be started. At the distribution center containers is what differenciate lots. We now are using MLT-STD-105 in our facility but not in the rest of the company. The percentage obtained from c/n is recorded and call AQL level. Questions: 1) Is correct to call c/n AQL level? 2) How can explain with easy words the mean of AQL, so I can explain why a trully stadistical method is needed? 3)Should I concider each styles as a cotinous process and keep n and c constant? 4) if answer 3) is not how should I include N to audit the right amount of garments per lot? Is this related to the AOQ?
