Dear All. I have a basic doubt. Whenever we design sampling plans based on binomial distributions. we do not consider lot size. and we solely design them based on AQL and LTPD. But if we use IS:2500 standard. it gives us different sample sizes (for same AQL, LTPD) for different lot sizes. where this lot size comes into picture?. Why it does never come in the calculation of Probability of acceptance based on %defectives?
