Here is an additional standard that I found related to documents by ANSI/AIIM. (AIIM = Association for Information and Image Management International.)

ANSI/AIIM TR-34-1996 "Sampling Procedures for Inspection by Attributes of Images in Electronic Image Management (EIM) and Micrographic Systems."

Consider sequential sampling plans, which are the most efficient type. They are referenced in TR-34.

A separate standard on sequential sampling is ISO 8422. Software program TP105 designs sequential sampling plans.
