Hi all I work in Biotechnology and I have a reference lot that I'd like to characterize. Since this is a cariable characterization and not an attribute characterization, would it be incorrect to use Z1.4 to determine the appropriate sample size to properly define the variance within the lot? Is there a better way? Level II requires quite a bit of sample and this is a destructive test, is it acceptable to use Level I?
