I see that your email address is from University of Maryland. I was in general engineering there at College Park in 1955-56.
I like the interactive nature of your website. What languages and systems do you use to script it?

I think that is true but unfortunate. Many who use sampling standards do not have backgrounds in statistical methodology. They just want to be assured that they have a sound procedure.
They do not know that AQL based sampling standards focus on protecting the producer against rejecting good product -- as opposed to protecting the consumer from accepting off-grade product. The standards mislead purchasers to believe that they protect themselves from passing off-grade product by choosing AQLs. This is a widespread misconception. See: www.samplingplans.com/aqlprimer.htm
