I was directed to this website in the hopes of obtaining some enlightening information on sampling plan creation. I am employed by a Minneapolis, MN employer and have been given the task of creation of a new sampling plan for our new plant. Our lot sizes are not consistent and vary depending on customer order quantity, but the process output and product is the same. My questions is can I use a Sampling Accumulation Method and base my sampling plan on TIME (8 hr or 24hr)and not lot size for my sampling plan?
