I am working with an AQL process to analize lot sizes of 90,000 units. How does one take into account major vs. minor defects when setting the defect level to reject a lot at. For example: out of the first sample set of 200 items I may wish to second sample the lot if more than 16 units have one or more deep scratches but up to 4 light scratches the lot is to be passed. (The depth of scratch is clearly defined in the specification.)
