Complex Sample Size Problem

This is not a "homework" problem but rather a real life situation at work. I have a diverse population of applicants: White=46%, Black=11.4%, Hispanic=32.8%, American Indian=.79%, Asian=3.94%, and Filipino=1.8%. My population size is 5629. Is it possible to determine a sample size that would replicate these population proportions with a 95% probability of a +/-1% margin of error? I know the problem is better addressed through stratification, but it was posed to me this way today and I haven't been able to figure out a way to solve it. Thanks to anyone who can help.
