Sampling Plan AQL effect on sample size

Hi,

Unless you have something explicitly specified otherwise, the number of nonconformances allowed for the AQL sample are for each characteistic. So if you have two major characteristics (ex. length and width)and one minor characteristic (ex. hole diameter) then are you are limited by the number of defects individually for each characteristic. Therefore, if you had 3 nonconforming lengths and 3 nonconforming widths, the lot would be acceptable while of you had 5 length onconformances and 0 widths (although having less total nonconformances) would be rejected

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
